Owning nice things and having a high standard of living are not the same thing. Having nice things is just having nice things. Those are the things you can buy. The quality of them resides where they are manufactured. There can be quality in the coice of them but there need not be. The quality of manufacture remains with the manufacturer. Usually the buying is just money.
