2.

Welcome to the bright new world. It's not much of a start, but for a start though it's not much but it has started.
There is something about waking up late that even when you can afford to be waking up late, and when there's not much waking up to do still seems to make it not quite what it should be once all the waking up has been done. Australia seems to have decided to be 200 years old now. Now is the time for Australia to be 200 years old which is rather like waking up late and there's still not much waking up to do. Nothing has really got around to fading and it was time for Australia to be 200 years old.
The television is creeping outwards. Australia is getting older. Europe is getting paler and America is continuing only more. And the television is creeping outwards.
There's nothing I can write about gardens and gardening that will help anybody else in their garden at all so I'm not writing about gardening and here I'm not writing about it. Television which shows all the world is a way of hiding from the front door which is where it is that it is on the television. I have neighbours who watch independent television and I can't remember their names which are always different to how I remember them anyway and anyway they watch independent television because really that is their name. Is anything ever like you expect it to be when you come around to expecting and now television is happening and we are all expecting more and more because it is all on the television and more and more of it. It all means less and less. Whatever it is that it is before it is on the television it is less of it after it is. Australia has decided to be 200 years old and this is on television too. Somehow the spark in the television that lights up the pictures is drained from the pictures that are it up by the spark and it carries on but there is less and less of it. And soon there is nothing that will be real except milkm chocolates which are extra real because of something they put in them because the taste of them isn't a good picture for the television. That's how it is.
We're just receivers really really just receivers. And it's like waking up late and it being late and everything never really faded. Soon it won't even be like waking up late but always never fading and always never being late or faded that's how it will be.
We have been teaching ourselves to make mechanical minds that grow to our own size and then stop. Stop. They do not always stop. Grow and stop.
Logic as a tool is very dangerous, cutting as it goes in again and cutting as it comes out. Logic is a very dangerous thing and illogic is not so much at the moment it is not so much. Sop everybody is being very careful and television is more so even than Australia which is 200 years old. So illogic is not so much so and so far there is not so much of it on television either so there is not so much of it but it is more. And now Australia is coming more and more with a spark to me and so soon it will be not so much of Autralia which is illogic but not enough to save it as it will not be so much so.
There are neighbours who are not remembered by name but who by independent television and they are watching Australia being 200 years old today and they are watching it be 200 years old less and less while they watch it and don't see it but this is what is happening and they don't see it. And Australia is being less and less I suppose it is going somewhere but it can't bew going to my neighbours because they have no space in them for it, and so even if it is logic or illogic there is less and less of it.
Then I went downstairs and closed the door and there was more of it then somehow and going away from the television made it more and so did closing the door and this is quite surprising to find in me that it should be more.
The things you understand from a sentance that is written down are different from the things you understand from it if it is spoken and so often to be the same things they must be different which is how it is. And so there are two English languages and they have to be different to be the same. They are the same but the understanding is different and part of that has to do with the speed. People are a bit like stained glass if you look at them sometimes and the difference is often the speed as well and sometimes it is the colour but usually it is the speed. That is how time comes to be so important because it needs time to be speed or different and there is understanding after all because of time. Because time is very important for understanding but not very much for colour which is why some people are best understood with stained glass because of time and some people not having any idea of speed or slowness and so little of understanding and so are best in colour. So it is that some people are like that because of time and it not happening in them but only colour and they always wear watches.
