I don't really like Penzance. I was open to like Penzance for a long time but then it all happened suddenly so now I don't really like Penzance and I am having to be very slow with it so I can come around to loking it as it is and it should be so. A few years ago I met Roberto Burle-Marx just before he gave a lecture in London. And it seemed to me her had got to be so very strong that now he was weary and it didn't all matter so much anyway and even the things that were new were old. Anyway I met him and I didn't like him as much as I had hoped I would like him. He suddenly seemed to be painting pictures of nothing with something and in nthe end it mwas all nothing and he was tired. Anyway this is all a bit about Penzance which is spaces not being defined by their edges or by their distance from the centre but by not being defined. Spaces that are only defined by being surrounded mostly by spaces that are defined mostly.
