Passion, flower, passion.

Autumn, it would seem, has come and charged the buds of passion
Though I find I need the warmth of spring to stir in the same fashion.
The long wet days of summer left me a bit deflated
But this nicely hung demi-god is clearly quite elated!
 Passiflora x exoniensis
How my little passion flower fills me with desire
As he climbs upon his trellis-work, inexorably higher.
His lilac flowers sparkle as though shouting for attention
And all his bits hang out in ways the neighbours fear to mention!
 Passiflora Lavender Lady
He's vigorous and brash and so it pays you to remember
His loving arms are long and strong, but in his heart he's tender.
His sunny disposition makes him a joy to keep
And as he haunts the autumn sales he is astonishingly cheap!
 Passiflora Imperatrice Eugenie
His flowers are filled with curly threads, a fimbriate corona
That would resemble pubic hair on any other owner,
And fecund anthers splash their pollen all around at random
Like a teenage boy discovering the joys of gay abandon!
 Passiflora Star of Kingston
Across the neighbours fences he will sprawl with louche demeanour
And if you think his buds are blue, his thoughts aren't any cleaner!
Though some may find him clingy, his hands are prone to wander
And touch each passing stranger, though he never gets much fonder.
 Passiflora Cary
At heart he is a faithful soul, he's rooted at my side
And when his shining petals smile he touches me with pride.
As I wander round the garden he follows with his eyes
Until I lie beheath his pergola, astonished by his size!
 Passiflora alata
As he climbs the wall up to my bedroom, I'm amazed by his pluck.
The swinging window forces him occasionally to duck,
But his vigour is supported by a barrow load of muck!
His arms embrace enfolds me and I'm happy for such luck.
